I have taken over my mother's Gold Star. My brother Francis Alivento W.O was killed April 8 1969 in Vietnam. I was 11 years old. I am honored to be part of this group. This organization has so many dedicated individuals I share a common bond with and am able to also help others. I hope I can always share my story so others can benefit and know that freedom is not free. In New York every March 28 we read the names of the soldiers killed so they are never forgotten.

I am happy to see an organization dedicated to such a noble cause! Its members are truly some of the most outstanding and dedicated individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting.
