Without unions, we wouldn't have workplace safety laws, child labor laws, paid vacation and sick days or weekends. None of these or the many other benefits workers take for granted today would have been provided because of the kindness of management. You want to work in a safe environment? You want to be fairly paid for an honest day's work? You want time with your family? Stick to the union. Teachers have been among those fighting for social justice and communities for decades.
