RecommendedMy daughter had two procedures done on two different days. The hospital made sure we had somewhere to stay since we live farther away. Before the procedure they made my daughter feel so relaxed by explaining everything to her. It was the greatest experience I have had at a hospital and I work at one. Thank you all for everything.
RecommendedAs I sit here in the PICU at AFCH, I am nothing but grateful to this Hospital and the C.H.E.T.A. Team for all they did for our little girl. This was the scariest time for us as parents but the entire time I felt confident knowing she was in the best place possible. Everyone was so calming, reassuring, and informative. I will be forever thankful for all they did to help bring her back to healthy! We are so lucky to have a place such as this so close!

RecommendedI have been extremely fortunate that my sons have not needed the services of the American Family Children’s Hospital... until this week. After a planned specialist appointment on Tuesday and an unrelated ER visit yesterday, I was blown away by the facility and the people on both visits. First class by far with absolutely amazing care.
the Staff in the nicu was not friendly.
RecommendedThe staff in the nicu is really amazing. They make it so you understand all those big doctor terms. They took great care of my little boy when I couldn't be there. Laura the lactation consultant is amazing. She was there for me. When we got into our car accident I called the nicu and they were great. My son's surgeon is great. He even drew us pictures so we understood what our son needed surgery on. Over all it was a great experience I hope to never do again but if I did. I would come back here.
RecommendedEveryone in the NICU that we worked with was amazing and went above and beyond to answer any and all of our questions and was amazing with our son and did everything he needed at his lowest point and even supported mom and dad through the journey. I don’t wish having a baby in NICU for any parents but AFCH is a great place to be for that unfortunate journey that happens more often then anyone wants to realize. Thank you all for everything!!! Landon is doing amazing now and we hope it continues to go that way!
