DO NOT GO HERE! They mainly use nurse practitioners (per contacting headquarters) and do not inform patients that there is no doctor present. Misdiagnosed my husband- and come to find out there could have been MAJOR damage from such misdiagnosis. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.
Horrible experience. The staff doesn't listen. Told nurse the cuff was too tight. Doctor didn't even introduce himself. Refused to give a prescription for a STOP SMOKING medication. What doctor does that? Only wanted to talk blood pressure. Doctor said he refused treatment. No, I refused the Doctor. Asked that co-pay be refunded, was told to come back this afternoon. Except for co-pay being refunded, have no intention of going back.

Teresa is absolutely wonderful! Her assistance and determination to expedite a referral for my son was appreciated more than she knows! Her follow call meant a lot to both of us.
I like the convenience and the staff at AFC Vestavia. What I don't like is always being told I have a $20 copay when I've already met my deductible and CAP for the year. I have this argument every time I come in after I've met my deductible/CAP. Believe me, I watch it closely so that I don't overpay because it's nearly impossible to get it back once you overpay any medical facility!
