RecommendedI remember my husband Keith taking me there about 25 years ago it was my first experience with dehydration I was scared to death had never experienced anything like that before I thought I was losing my mind they were great to me and took care of me quickly. DO NOT GO HERE! They mainly use nurse practitioners (per contacting headquarters) and do not inform patients that there is no doctor present. Misdiagnosed my husband- and come to find out there could have been MAJOR damage from such misdiagnosis. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.
Horrible experience. The staff doesn't listen. Told nurse the cuff was too tight. Doctor didn't even introduce himself. Refused to give a prescription for a STOP SMOKING medication. What doctor does that? Only wanted to talk blood pressure. Doctor said he refused treatment. No, I refused the Doctor. Asked that co-pay be refunded, was told to come back this afternoon. Except for co-pay being refunded, have no intention of going back.

Teresa is absolutely wonderful! Her assistance and determination to expedite a referral for my son was appreciated more than she knows! Her follow call meant a lot to both of us.
I like the convenience and the staff at AFC Vestavia. What I don't like is always being told I have a $20 copay when I've already met my deductible and CAP for the year. I have this argument every time I come in after I've met my deductible/CAP. Believe me, I watch it closely so that I don't overpay because it's nearly impossible to get it back once you overpay any medical facility!
