I would drive across the state or to the hospital before I go back to this place. The billing practices are a joke and no one can provide you with any policy. They will bill you what they want when they want. I will inform everyone I know to go else where. I have been on the phone for almost an hour and no one can tell me why I am being billed for something a year ago. I will be filing formal complaints. American Family Care you need to be more accountable for your actions and to your customers.
Place is first class. Caring and open on holidays.
I will NEVER ever go there again. The care isn't the problem but I was billed twice for the visit and paid twice for it. I contacted them by phone and was told I would get a refund after they agreed that I in fact paid the same bill twice. That was 5 months ago and still nothing. I posted on this site about it and they responding asking for a case number which I DID provide.... about 2 months ago....and STILL ...NOTHING!!!!! i am only give it a 1 star rating because i can't give it 0. my husband took my 3 month old daughter into afc urgent care in our town tonight because she had a piece of hair wrapped around her finger, too tight for him to remove. they told him the doctor would not touch her so he had no choice but to leave with her. i, unfortunately was at work. but when i look at the website it says they provide pediatric care. so then why was my 3 month old baby turned away with the possibility of the piece of hair cutting circulation to h... read more
Pitiful. My college age son, that was extremely sick was refused service on 6/8/17 because of one outstanding bill from 2/17/17. Instead he had to go to the ER where the bill was 3 times as high. Turns out that the bill was never filed nor sent so it could be paid. The bill was filed and sent on the same day that he was refused service. This clearly shows that AFC does not care about sick people who have been loyal customers in the past. Their only concern is money, even if the mistake is theirs.
