RecommendedI went to AFC for a ear infection (my ear is hard to diagnose due to having a mastoidectomy in 2013), saw dr.moore. he was great. listened to my history, was actually able to diagnose my issue (most providers can't even some Wants have issues cause the eardrum is cartilage) and my concerns and prescribed the best medication for my particular case. if I get sick again I will definitely go back and try to see him.
Checked in at 9:20, left at 2:00. My daughter had >103 temp and never saw a dr. Understandable if it was packed, but there weren’t many patients. I hate leaving bad reviews but maybe this will invoke change for the sick. All workers (with the exception of the front desk workers) were nice and helpful, but lots of people goofing off and standing around.
Saw a nurse practitioner here whose license is out of the state of FL apparently and because of this my insurance was billed out of network for my labs. Had to investigate this myself because AFC wouldn’t listen to me or call me back. My insurance finally got in contact with them and discovered numerous claims have been messed up due to her NPI being the wrong state.
Over a two hour wait while husband was in excruciating pain. He had to ask for x-ray. This after my being misdiagnosed two months ago. Looking for an alternative.
I have been taking Nina there for a while and they always get you in a room quickly and diagnose and treat accurately
not having to feel out paper work all the time .... Less of a wait time, every time I come here it's a hour to 2 hour wait...
I’ve always been pleased with the care I receive at American Family Care. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and caring. The facility is kept up well. I highly recommend AFC.
