Too much of everything. – If undercooked crust, pounds of cheese and tons of toppings are your idea of a great pizza than this is the place for you. Yet another disapointing pizza joint in Portland that has managed to build a loyal following much to the puzzelment of the true pizza lover.

Excellent pizza and fun ambiance! – Now that I found this place, I just can't have pizza anywhere else! The long list of toppings encourages variety. It's the crust that really keeps me coming back; it is not doughy or soft - more like a pie crust that bread and so tasty! The joint is always jumpin', so it's not a great place if you are in a hurry. Atmosphere and employees are eclectic and perfect for Portland; the staff has always been friendly and accomodating except for that one tall, red-haired guy who seems to have forg... read more

Good Pizza, but avoid delivvery – Well as I read the reviews I had to agree with parts of all of them. I think it is very good pizza, and I enjoy the atmosphere and the service I receive when I go to the actual place. However, whenever I have gotten delivery from them it has been a nightmare. The last 3 deliveries have either been over 2 hrs to get to my house(I live 2.3 miles from the store), or even longer and I had to cancel the order. But I keep trying because everytime I get takeout, or eat there it is wonderful stuff.

pizza with some personality – This NE Portland pizza place has become an institution for my family, we love their pizza and have been going there for years. They just make a great slice and can accommodate most requests. Great place.

Shockingly bad pizza and service. – We called it in and then person on the phoine was rude and curt. When we went in to pick our pizza up we discovered they neglected to put on the tomatoes we had requested. A filthy looking employee appeared with a hand full of raw tomatoes and suggested he add them then - after the pizza had bben cooked - I suggested they not charge for the forgotten topping, which seemed to baffle them. We left within the either as I was so appalled. After getting the "pizza" home we had to re-cook it as ... read more

Great Pizza. Customer service was just fine. – I am glad we went! After reading all the negative reviews on customer service I almost didn't go. What we found though, was original, fresh pizza, and decent customer service. Regarding service, I don't know what the reviewers are wanting, no offense; I mean, this is a NE Portland pizza joint, not the Marriott. A little "grunge" should be expected. I have been to A LOT of pizza places, and I certainly would not rank the customer service here lower than anywhere else. Regarding t... read more

Kid-style decor and guilt-free pizza make for a pleasurable dining experience. – In Short Providence Hospital practitioners and Laurelhurst locals get a kick out of the romper-room color scheme, hand-painted elementary-school chairs and old-style candy dispensers. Ornery old fogies can take refuge in the 10 microbrews on tap. The pizzas are greaseless and about half the menu items are vegetarian. For example, the "Edward Abbey," with savory sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes and feta, gets a base of zesty pesto rather than tomat... read more

Pizza with a smile? Yeah, right. – Okay, check this out. Pizza was promised to be at our house 40 min to an hour. Didn't show up till an hour and 20 minutes. Then the driver handed us a rain soaked box. Opened up the box and a quarter of the pizza was wet and soggy from water (a hopeful guess). We called to let them know. The manager got defensive stating, "It would be impossible for the pizza to get wet." She stated that our pizza had some moist ingredients or some wacky idea like that. So, your pizza is so water logged, th... read more

Still love it, but more hit and miss these days – i have loved this pizza for several years. The crust is amazing, althoug I do have to say, the quality is hit and miss over the past year...staff turnover? the service is also more hit and miss, but i do have to say, until the odds tip towards the negative, I'll keep going back. when it's good, it's goo. Crust is yummy and twisted, seems to be quite buttery. lately i haven't seen the twist as much, which seems to make the crust a bit more dry.
