I cannot rate the service, care and patience of ADM highly enough, and in particular the dedication of Nancy and Tom. They are simply wonderful people, and such an asset to this great company. You may be able to find great cars elsewhere, but you wont find service and care like this! Geoffrey Smith
I was coming through des moines for business and found this little gem. Learned that most of the clientele are from out of des moines. Fell in love with a classic Chevy and bought it the next day. Transportation was a pain but the dealing with ADM was a breeze and the car is well worth it. I’m often asked where I found such a pristine classic and I always enjoy telling my story of sleepy little iowa and ADM.
I want to thank American Dream Machines for a wonderful classic car shopping experience! I’ve been interested in purchasing a classic convertible for some time now and, compared to the selection at other shops I’ve visited, ADM’s collection and variety is seriously impressive. Their well-kept shop and helpful crew effectively create the approachable, enjoyable atmosphere I look for when shopping for classic cars. I trust the Dream Team’s advice and honesty, and I would recommend their Dream Machines to anyone in the market f... read more
Great shop and great selection. I was just in last week to look at a 1949 Buick Roadmaster and ended up spending an hour just walking around with the staff looking at cars. The staff I walked around with were very helpful. I will say they clearly don't mess around if you are coming just to sit in the cars and act like Thelma & Louise. However, if you are actually interested in owning a classic cars they are very accommodating and have a huge inventory of beautiful cars.
I was satisfied with ADM. They didn't have exactly what i wanted which was surprising since they have a large selection with a little bit of everything. But the customer service was great. Informative and straight forward - no b.s. Every time I was in the shop the staff was always helpful and easy to work with. Based off the hand full of times I'd interacted with ADM, I recommended them to a couple family members, both bought cars, both satisfied. If I'm going to buy another classic in the years to come I'm starting with ADM... read more
I visited american dream machines a couple of days ago, the place looks amazing and the cars even more so. I was a little hesitant to purchase such an old used car because they can be riddled with problems. The salesman who helped me was very transparent about the subject. he told me that they do detailed inspections of the engine, frame, and the overall appearance of the car. I didn't end up buying the 1971 Chevrolet Camino I was eying, but overall i had a good experience.
i have just received my second car from american dream machines, and again zero disappointments. very honest, and upfront about the good and the bad. great business, great people!
