Had ADO remodel our bathroom this past summer/fall and it was the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. They said it would take 2 weeks and they still weren't finished in 2 months. I fired them and brought in another contractor who fixed all the problems that ADO left and then finished the job. Besides hardly ever showing up I have a 1 page list of all the problems, mistakes, and poor workmanship of their main man - Howard. I love this place. I've used them twice and each time the service gets better. I LOVE my window treatments that i bought and had installed. My kitchen is my dream kitchen and I seriously paid 40% less than other local businesses had quoted me. Can't wait to save for my bathroom project and use them again!
Hired this company to do a kitchen remodel. The experience was a nightmare. Delays, overcharges, misleading product descriptions, rude and random contractors (yes, he contracts the work out) and a very low standard of work quality. You have been warned.
Steve the Friendly Helpful Decorator – I have worked with this co., ADO, and it's very pleasant and professional owner, Steve, for many years. Conflicting Info Here – After having several different companies give me estimates for my kitchen, I had narrowed it down to 2 with American Decorating being one. This was solely based on their sales rep. Jeff, whom I was very comfortable with and he seemed to go over everything in great detail. Great company, We are pleased as well we recommend America – We were at a Home show 4 months ago and found Steve, His staff, and installers were gracious and caring, I changed my mind several times but they stuck with me and created a beautiful kitchen. My long time friends recommended Steve. RUN! DONT USE! – HORRIFIC! Is all I can say. RUDE and condecending sales people and owner. DO NOT be swayed by the smooth talkers and notice that the owner and his friend are the ONLY 2 good reviews on here, look at the names. WOW! They take FOREVER and even when given a deadline have failed miserably to meet it. I think they must be struggling financially because there is absurd wait for simple items that are "on order"..... really?! maybe they are behind on their bills thats why things aren't delivered in a timely manner. ... read more
