Our "Genuine Wood-Smoked BBQ" is prepared in the true Southern Tradition, along with hospitality that'll make you feel this restaurant is your "home away from home." First we dry rub our premium meats with our own mix of spices and seasonings, then we slow smoke them for 5 - 16 hours in our wood smokers right on the premises. RecommendedThe food is delicious! I use to get the 1/2 bbq chicken which was very good. Now they have rotisserie chicken which is to die for. The waitresses are awesome too. They remember us as s well as the owners. Their fried pickles, pulled pork, and brisket rubuen are a must!!
Renovated, clean , comfortable place. Friendly staff and great food . We planned our entire motorcycle ride to end up there :)
American BBQ is one of the nicest places I have seen! The new renovations are amazing ! Very cozy , classy, and the food is magnificent! Nothing like it! I promise you will not regret it!!

Fantastic food and drinks and a great atmosphere. The menu has something for everyone and you can dine in or out. Check out the mirrors in the bathrooms, creative.
Went for the first time yesterday and will be back! My vegetarian sister even loved American BBQ and it's tough to get her to a BBQ joint where she doesn't order a garden salad! There are plenty of vegetarian options - she got the veggie burger and loved it. We also got nachos. My BIL, BF, and I all tried the meats, I can't tell you which was my favorite because they were all amazing. Southern greens are one of the best sides. The drinks are also stellar! Easy to get to and friendly staff.
