I had an absolutely terrible experience at the Amen Clinic. I went there a few years ago at the recommendation of my therapist. I went to try to get help with my anxiety and depression. I paid $4000 to get a SPECT scan. I was given pictures of my brain scan and my brain looked very damaged. For the treatment they tried to get me to pay for vitamins that you can buy in stores for fairly cheap at a HUGE markup. They also tried to prescribe me Wellbutrin even after I told them I’d already taken it. I feel like I got scammed.
Dr. Daniel Amen and his wife, Tana, are true miracles, fixing many brains to billions around the world! They are rockstars every day and night, saving people's lives time after time. We are forever grateful to the Amens all the time!
UPDATE: I sent an email over 3 months ago and have been completely ignored by their internal team. Disregard their response below, where they claim to care about this gross interaction by their staff member, Bianca. Last week I went in for an early appointment and I was greeted with such friendly smiles even with a super early appointment . Was super appreciative on how the Walnut Creek team treated me that I had to write a review .
Amen clinic saved my life. They were my last resort and thank God they were able to help me be on track in life. I was suffering from ptsd, depression and anxiety and I decided to have a consultation with one of their doctors. He understood what was needed for me to get better. He recommended me these supplements that were expensive however super effective!!! Thank you so much amen and hope to work with you Long term.
