I had an absolutely terrible experience at the Amen Clinic. I went there a few years ago at the recommendation of my therapist. I went to try to get help with my anxiety and depression. I paid $4000 to get a SPECT scan. I was given pictures of my brain scan and my brain looked very damaged. For the treatment they tried to get me to pay for vitamins that you can buy in stores for fairly cheap at a HUGE markup. They also tried to prescribe me Wellbutrin even after I told them I’d already taken it. I feel like I got scammed.
Dr. Daniel Amen and his wife, Tana, are true miracles, fixing many brains to billions around the world! They are rockstars every day and night, saving people's lives time after time. We are forever grateful to the Amens all the time!
UPDATE: I sent an email over 3 months ago and have been completely ignored by their internal team. Disregard their response below, where they claim to care about this gross interaction by their staff member, Bianca. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had the absolute displeasure of speaking with Amen Clinic employee, Bianca, today. This woman is a serious liability to the companies reputation.
