RecommendedThe Amen Clinic takes the guessing game out of mental illness. Being diagnosed incorrectly and starting and stopping a barrage of very strong medications is DANGEROUS. It's during those times that I came closest to committing suicide. Psychiatrist don't test for parasites, hormones, Lyme Disease, Epstein-Barr, metal toxicity, OR traumatic brain injury. Forty percent of people with mental problems actually have TBI.

The people are very professional, couteous, and friendly. The facilities are top-notch. They really know what they are talking about especially concerning nutrition. They have more knowledge about nutrition than regular doctors. Glad I did it. Looking forward to a better brain.

The Amen Clinic has e a professional and scientific approach and solutions to problems that have defied modern medicine. Dr. Amen is truly changing psychiatry and providing real solutions to complex and life altering illnesses.
I highly recommend Amen Clinic. For the two years that I have received treatment and SPECT scans, there has been a significant improvement in my brain functioning with regard to managing A.D.D. and impulsive behaviors related to eating. I shed 57pounds with the help of the prescribed supplements and following a reasonable approach to eating. Dr. Johnson is very supportive. I'm glad I invested in this approach instead of gastric bypass surgery.
Love yr presentations on public tv- one thought- the political- in a way yr presentations (somehow) neglect the negative ( the fact that we live in a violent, military- industrial society, rife w guns and persons who seem to favor totalitarian leadership) Did you know there are persons in prison right now for protesting nuclear submarines?
