Beware - they charge a $30 "Destination Fee" to your credit card when you arrive in addition to the booking cost (we booked through Hotes.com). They never told us about this or asked for our consent for this. They later explained it as a fee that "covers water and power". Very sneaky and unethical.
Terrible experience. The Omni Royal Orleans Hotel released our prepaid room, breaching our contract, and refused to refund us. We reserved a room through Expedia for April 1-April 5 and paid for the entire stay up front. Due to canceled flights, we arrived at 12:45pm on April 2nd. We had received a voicemail from the hotel at 12:25pm on April 2nd that they would release the room at 2:30pm, if we didn't contact them first. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I booked a room at Omni Hotel in Providence, RI to surprise my husband. I checked in at noon on March 16th. The bedding just had wrinkled sheets (no comforter - it looked NOTHING like what's advertised) and there was no champagne/gourmet strawberries (the romance package they advertised) that I paid extra for. Omni royal in new Orleans are thieves. They added a $40 tip to a $4 cup of coffee. Told me they would issue a refund. Never got it. They lied about issuing it. DO NOT stay at this hotel. They will steal your $

Recently scheduled accommodations to attend an on-site conference. However due to changes in the conference covid guidelines and terms I decided to back out and attention via Livestream. Apparently, this Omni establishment has a "no refund policy" . I paid $2,400 for five nights and requested to canceled the room. They tell me that I will not get my refund but the room reservation is canceled. It is up to finance to decide if they will pay me back or not which I was told probably wouldn't happen. The management and staff are racist. There are different policies for whites and for minorities. We were harassed every day at the pool during our stay and reported it to the manager. She didn't apologize or say sorry-she said she will speak to the director-and the director never even contacted us. Nate the "supervisor" at the pool stalked us told us we couldn't stay if our family did not come down in half an hour. He demanded to know my room number and I asked him why? I booked a night at Omni hotel in *********************** through booking for Saturday 7/24/2021 to 7/25/2021. Upon arrival I found out there was nowhere to park so we had to pay for valet. When we came back down from our room to go to dinner, we waited outside for 40 minutes for valet to bring my truck out. When the truck finally arrived, I was notified that the valet driver side swiped a car with my truck in their parking garage. I stayed at the ****** ****** Omni ********** Hotel for 2 nights in July 2021. My hotel room was a terrible experience. The door into the room was stuck and very difficult to open. Our first night after returning from dinner, our air conditioning did not work. At 10:30 at night , engineering came up and assessed that it was broken and had to get a new motor.
