This group and Dr Owens who has retired have been my dentist since a visit to Amelia even before I lived here. I was visiting with my husband and a crown came loose. I called got in the same day, they cleaned up the area and reseated the crown. When I went to pay they told me Dr Owens said no charge! I was floored! Love Kathy and although I am sure all the other hygienists are great - I will always wait until she has time to clean my teeth as she is not only totally professional but also makes my visit relaxed and friendly. she is a gem!!!

I always receive high quality, state of the art, friendly care, but I also have two more reasons I choose Amelia Dental Group for my dental care. The first is - when we first moved here, I broke a tooth, and in calling around, searching for a dentist, Dr. Kitson at Amelia Dental Group was the only one who could see me in less than a week. So they're great in an emergency. My father was a dentist and retired over 23 years ago. It was a family practice and I worked there during my high school and college breaks. The Amelia Dental Group is like family to me! For being a large practice, it is very well organized, beautiful facilities, friendly and knowledgeable staff and just a pleasure to visit. I was able to get an appointment quickly and Dr. Bietenholz and his assistant April took care of my tooth efficiently and with no pain. As I was leaving, I thought to myself, I believe this is the best dental office on the island and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
