Only recently has Dr. Fairfax's office practice been upgraded to match her professionalism. She has been our PCP for fifteen years. My wife and I have assailed her with a wide assortment of medical difficulties over the years and have never been disappointed. We are both eighty, so we have had many levels of medical service.. I trust her with my major infirmities and with my minor ailments. She is accessible, competent, empathetic and an efficient practitioner of internal medicine.
Dr. Fairfax is an amazing doctor, my wait time is unbelievable, and she is always available when I need her.
Dr. Fairfax is efficient and diligent. She likes to check in regularly to make sure everything is going well. She really cares about her patient's well being. 100% recommended! She also has a lab right inside of her office and a radiology place right around the corner so you can get everything done in one place!
My experience was absolutely negative. The office staff is not proficient, they routinely scheduled incorrectly and over-billed. When meeting with Dr Fairfax, it was obvious that her attentions were elsewhere and was not focused other than to perscribe and refer out. Under no circumstances would I ever recommend this practice.
Dr. Fairfax is very personable, patient, and sincerely concerned every time I visit. She has been able to hit it right on the nail every time I've been in with illnesses. She isn't rushed and doesn't treat me like a number, but instead, patiently listens to what I say, then evaluates and determines the necessary action needed to improve my health. Very satisfied and highly recommend her. I live way in Summerville and choose to drive to West Ashley each time just to continue seeing her.
My experience dates to October 2014 when I went in for an Annual Wellness Check which was covered by Medicare. July 2014 I received a bill for the entire visit and discovered they had coded it wrong - but when I called about it got a full mailbox. I sent a $25 check with a letter stating they need to correct and resubmit - to no avail though as the only thing that was done was my check was cashed. They turned my account over to collection so I paid that too - so paid more than I owed
