We truly don’t have enough words to express what a Godsend the nurses and aides have been for our dad and our entire family during his final months. Amedisys Hospice took care of our mom when we needed help the most. She was not an easy person to please and she enjoyed and appreciated ALL the staff that came out to care for her. She told us time and again how much she enjoyed seeing them. The staff was kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. We are grateful to have had them when it mattered the most. Thank you to everyone who was involved in our mom's care.
I would give them negative stars if I could I trusted them to take care of a wonderful friend of mine i recommended them but instead they went in and put her on so many meds she died shortly after being with them. No body in this world should be on numerous pain meds with anxiety meds depression meds and sleep meds while they are pushing 6 liters of oxygen. The staff where very unprofessional and kept blaming me for things they could not provide any answers to as well never communicate with Each other. We used Amedisys for several months for our dad, and the nurse and caregivers we had were top-notch all the way! Outstanding care, kindness, and respect were what he and our family received. I highly recommend!
