From a professional perspective I collaborate with Amedisys home health on geriatric patients in the Mobile area. Their team is very caring and thorough.
I broke my left hip a year ago and my right hip 7 weeks ago. I have to of the best therpists you can ask for. They handled my therapy on both occasions.. Sharyn Williams and Stuart Gray. They are so caring and passionate about what they do! I am going to miss them but we will still keep in touch!!
I would not recommend using this company for ANY services, I don't even want to give one star, that would be a complement they do not deserve. We were on home health for a couple of weeks, then hospice for several weeks. Their hospice representative made false promises of services that they either would not or could not provide. They didn't even have a reliable aide to help bath my dad. That is one of the main services most elderly people need assistance with. Had in home PT for 1 week after knee replacement. They were in the home for maybe 30 minutes a day, 540.00 a day that is a bit unreasonable. The last day someone new came and proceded to accuse me of not taking meds correctly until I showed her my bottles and discharge instructions. She also said I should be walking outsude 30 minutes a day, I am only a week out and not even seen my doctor yet.
