I've lived in one of AMC's apartments for three years and I had a great experience! If it weren't for my job, I would be renewing for a fourth year. The staff was always there for me to help if I had any concerns. I definitely recommend renting with them.. one of the best management companies out there.
If you're thinking of moving into an apartment that is managed by AMC Delancey, then think again. This company is clueless. I lived in an apartment managed by them for 3 years, and in those 3 years the staff member who was first contact changed at least 3 times. There is a lot of turnover, and as a result a lot of things fall through the cracks. I was a tenant with AMC Delancey on Pine Street for almost 2 years, and it was a great experience. The team are all very compassionate and caring people, and are always able to quickly help with anything that pops up. The leasing process was very smooth, tours were great, and the apartment was kept in great shape upon move-in. I would highly recommend AMC Delancey and their team, as well as properties to anyone looking for their next apartment, it will be a great experience.
I’d think twice before signing a lease with them. The apartments look nice while you move in but then the problems start to show up. Over my 2 years here there have been rodents and constant leaks. Several of the leaks resulted in collapsed ceilings which resulted in significant damaged to my belongings. The latest leak was caused from the pipes connected to shower, coincidentally they were out working on them last week after the handles fell off from rust.
