Good food – The Amazon Burger is great as well as the Latino and lets not forget about the Margaritas which are $3.00 during happy hour =)
great salad, chips and salsa – My girlfriend and I always come here to catch up. The chips and salsa are different and yummy. And the salads are really good. Great choice for a nice casual dining option.
Used to like it – When Amazon first opened, we loved it and thought it was the best place for our "family date night". The steak was like America's for a fraction of the price and the kids loved the elegant popcorn shrimp served in a tall martini-style glass on top of popcorn. Best Cheap S. American Eats – I love this place!!! All you can eat salad, wonderful plantain chips, and tasty main courses. I highly recommend the tilapia or the salmon. I love taking all of my out of town guests here. They have a great out door patio if you can handle the Kirby traffic.
Love the Tomato Basil soup~! – ok u know i love that soup..but the food is not your everyday sandwich and salad..its diff. and that is what i like. u can come here and eat something unique. it never gets old!
Not everything it's cracked up to be! – I went into Amazon expecting good value based on all the reviews and that was a mistake. Yes, we did enjoy the complimentary plaintain chips, etc, but that didn't make up for the fact that we paid ~$10 for the Latino which was basically fried chicken breast that had no flavor. consistently delicious – I love this place!!The fried plantains are to die for!!!The tres leches is wonderful! A fun and inviting atmosphere. I would reccomend this to anyone who wants to experience something outside of the box!
