RecommendedI have now had 3 family members cared for by Amara, either in the facility or at home hospice...and I can truly say the level of care far exceeded my expectations. The facility is peaceful and has everything you could want or need. The staff is caring and patient. I really cannot say enough positive things about Amara. They are wonderful. ❤️

My mother in law Maria del Zocorro de la Garza was admitted on July 6th, 2018. Since the moment we arrived she was treated beautifully. The staff was so attentive and caring not only for her but for us, the family as well. Anything we needed was provided. She never regained consciousness but the staff would speak and treat her with respect. She passed on July 8th, 2018. The facility and grounds are beautiful. Thank you to the staff for all you did for her and us.
Doing some volunteer work with the facility and I absolutely love the staff I get to work with, the families I meet and the patients. Being there is so humbling. Great place!

Very clean and friendly folks willing to help out ..
The staff mainly the nursing on call dealing with direct patient care were wonderful. Unfortunately, the social worker no at all. When my mom was taken there on March 10, 2017, he was considerate and understanding. We never received copies of documents signed and most definitely NEVER WERE TOLD that she could only be there 3 months.
