I had a terrible and painful experience at Alvorada Dentistry in Gainesville, VA, and I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. In April, I went in for severe pain in one of my molars. I told the dentist Clarissa Moore, clearly that I believed I needed a root canal because I had intense pain when eating hot or cold foods. She dismissed my concern, said it wasn’t necessary, and only cleaned the cavity and placed a temporary filling—which fell out the next day. The doc and her staff are very nice here. They do a stunning job, without being too pushy on unnecessary dental work. I enjoy talking to the staff and enjoy the personal touch of them remembering our conversations, especially since I only see them every few months.
This staff always perform fantastic service, thorough cleanings, and all are always very courteous. In addition they exhibit and show continuous patience and understanding regarding various questions patients have. Last, but not least, Dr. Mamoor and Sheena are well recommended and were superb!
We have thoroughly loved our experience at Alvorada Dentistry. All four of my kids and I are seen here and everyone comes out happy after appointments, which is great! Sheena, in particular, has such a happy and positive demeanor that she definitely put me at ease from the moment I got in the chair. Great bedside manner and great service from everyone on the staff. Even the ladies in the front are always so joyful and cheerful. I can’t help but be in a good mood when I leave.
