My recent experience with Dr. Matzon was truly Excellent. I am in my 80's and not exactly sure of my diagnosis but I had totally lost the use of two piano-playing fingers on my right hand. I love to play the piano and most importantly, I have a business that requires me to play as well. He never balked at operating on someone so old, or at least not to me. Dr. Carl Deirmengian gave me a new right hip in August of 2023. It was a pleasure to work with his office and team, from beginning to end. Dr. Deirmengian is unusually kind and personable and patient for a surgeon and doesn't have the off-putting ego that so many surgeons have, despite being one of the very best in his field. Dr. Ong did my right side hip replacement in Nov.2023 and two months later had my left side done also. Both side was a speedy recovery and able to walk my dog the very next day and two months later back to teaching my karate classes. Great staff that will treat you with respect.

Dr Matzon was professional during my visit. He explained my injury concerns and was very thorough in his examination of my injury. A treatment plan was decided and followed until my injury was completely healed. I would recommend Dr Matzon to everyone.
Friendly, patient, great bedside manner, excellent surgeon, follow up A+.The whole team is great- light hearted and put you at ease at every juncture.Can’t say enough good things about my experience getting a total knee replacement.Recovery is long- but that’s the nature of the beast!!
it turns out I didn’t have an appointment the day I went to see Dr. Matson. He was gracious enough to make time for me even though there was no appointment scheduled. He took his time and explained everything to me, gave me options and I was able to make an informed decision.
I am writing this review for my mom, who had a TKR performed by Dr. Saxena. We were not at all pleased with the experience. Dr. Saxena's operation didnot ultimately lead to a positive outcome for her, and she will need to do reconstruction surgery. We found Dr. Saxena's overall approach and bedside manner to be quite lacking. He was not thorough in the pre-surgery examination of her knee.
