I have been there a few times with my son Michael and family, very good food and friendly place to go ! I am from Ky. Next visit to N.C. I will go again !!
We were so excited to experience Alton's Kitchen in the Charlotte area. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The service was very slow and when they brought out the salmon it was almost raw, so we sent it back. We waited and waited and waited some more...... Our husband's , in the mean time , finished their meal and our salmon finally was brought back to us and the men had to just sit and watch us eat. Went here yesterday for Easter brunch with 9 other family members. Unroll my utensils and there is a large piece of spinach stuck to the knife. Whatever, it happens. The family goes up to the buffet and all of the plates are dirty! Hot, but dirty. I mean visibly filthy. Absolutely disgraceful for $27 a plate. Waiter tells me he "cant guarantee" a clean plate because of the high turnover. I can get a clean plate at Golden Corral.
