They go the extra mile to help you with your computer needs! When we called around for computer parts for our PC, no one wanted to help us. We called Altex and they told us what they thought it could be over the phone, we bought a couple of parts, my husband put them in and it's working great! He didn't have to go the extra mile and diagnose on the phone but he did and that saved us alot. The store is great if you're looking for accessories too. They have/can order almost anything. Knowledgable, good selection. These folks really helped me get through tech school with their knowledge, expertise and assistance with electronics components. I started shopping with them when they were on Metric Blvd. I like the larger store. PROS: Good selection, good staff. CONS: It's on I-35 and it's depressing to have to go in I-35, ever.
Helpful and Great Place to get Computer parts! Altex is the greatest place in the area to get most any computer parts you're looking for. The staff is ALWAYS helpful and spot on when it comes to computer knowledge. The prices are very low and if you can repair it yourself you'll save a great deal!
