This is my third visit to them for maintenance on my vehicles. Great friendly service and honest people. Mike doesn't sugar coat it when uou need something done. They got my truck tubed up with new plugs, coils air filter fuel system cleaned and an oil change in a minimum amount of time. I even just enjoy hanging out and talking with both of the owners. Great place to go for auto repair!
Mike and his staff are the best! He has solved problems with my car other shops could not. In this case, my 2012 GMC Acadia has had a shudder at cruising speeds on city streets. It just randomly shifts from about 1800 to 1200 RPMs and back sometimes so rough it seems to jar my teeth. The first repair shop thought the problem could be cured by an Engine tune-up. Nope. June 2018 - My mother had an issue with her 2009 Ford V8 sport trac jerking as it was driving on the highway. She took it to a dealership that wanted to replace the transmission for 6800 dollars. We heard about Mike at Alternative Automotive and took the vehicle to him. Based on his experience, he suspected right away that the truck did not need a new transmission, but merely a tune up!! Mike saved us thousands of dollars and for that we are grateful!!
