Owned by (Detail) Dave and Brenda Anderson. Altered Skin has been making Missoula beautiful for 20 years. We do all styles of tattooing, certified body piercer and Montana's largest selection of body jewelry. Award winning artists and a friendly staff. Love to draw you up a custom piece of art. We do large and small scale pieces. Appointments are recommended but walk in are certainly welcome.

Yeshi there at Altered Skin was friends with me for over 15 years. He used that friendship to charge me over 1000 dollars for a tattoo that other shops quoted at a much cheaper rate. Then when after he asked me for another 600 dollars for 4 hours I asked him how much the tattoo will be to finish. Mind you the shops owner Detail Dave quoted me 750 to finish this tattoo over a year ago, and I've already paid 500 more since. 2000 for a calf piece, and I would have still been waiting to get it finished. I got my daith pierced to help with horrible migraines. Brenda was friendly, professional and I am migraine free ever since. I highly recommend Altered Skin.
