During my time at Alter, I was subjected to coercive, unethical treatment at the hands of Jahqueche and other staff members. When I refused to “voluntarily” take the medication they prescribed, Jahqueche threatened to send me to a lockdown facility. I declined to sign the consent form, but they medicated me anyway. When I was dealing with server depression and even struggling with thoughts of that were troubling to myself they gave me the counseling I needed to stabilize myself. I am in a much better position in life thanks the help Alter provided to get myself moving back in the right direction.
