I've been to a lot of shops and been to a lot of artists. After many mediocre tattoos (and coverups of those tattoos) I've become a bit of a tattoo snob. Alter Ego is one of the few places I would send my friends or family. I know they will do an amazing job. I've been both tattooed and pierced there. And you can't beat their clean, professional shop and knowledgeable, friendly staff. So good, I took my daughter there for her first tattoo.
Dave has done both my daith and tragus piercings. When I got my tragus done, I passed out. Dave did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable before leaving the studio. He gave me a popcicle, and sat with me until I felt safe to drive home. I was so at ease that when I started experiencing migraines in 2016, the only person I could go to to hopefully get some relief, was Dave. Fun professional atmosphere! I went in for a piercing on a whim and Dave and his lovely wife couldn't have been nicer and very knowledgeable I'll definitely be back for a tattoo in my near future

I absolutely love this place. Jess did my first tattoo and it came out wonderful and she is so enjoyable to talk to. She definitely made it a memorable experience and I'm already planning to go back to her for my next tattoos. If you are looking for a great tattoo artist with a wonderful personality, then Jess is your girl. I had no problems healing and the tattoo looks wonderful now.
