Gentle, caring, and priced right. We needed a 2nd opinion for our sweet lab/mix dog's heart murmur, but we came away from Alta Vista deciding to make Dr. Hutchison her permanent vet. Dr. Stephanie has the type of personality that you want in health care for your pet (or member of your family, if you are like us). She took time to get to know our friendly big dog, and then checked her out. Absolutely LOVE them! Dr. Hutchinson is hands down the best vet around. I have been taking all of my animals there for 10 years now. I have recommended friends and family to them and they all love this clinic. When we moved here it was the closest vet around so I thought, well why not try it? DC I have dealt with many vets over the years, and Dr. Hutchinson is one of the finest animal doctors in the Fort Worth area. With the state of the art equipment, caring staff, and interns at Alta Vista, I will continue driving the extra distance. Considering the cost of any animal health care, her prices for services are very reasonable and not out of line with other vets.
I would never think of bringing my animals anywhere else. I have been using Alta Vista Animal Hospital since I moved to Texas 7 years ago. My sister told me about them after she started using them, now I have my parents using them too. We would never go anywhere else! A few years ago during the holiday week my cat was attacked and although they were booked solid, I was told to bring her in and they would look at her. Sue B This clinic is the best. From the time you enter the door until the time you leave, you feel like everyone cares for you and most especially they care for your pet. Dr. H as we call her is wonderful. She listens to what you have to say and they gives her expert opinion about your pet. She has such a special way with all animals. I would never trust my pet or should I say family member go anywhere but Alta Vista. If you are looking for a friend and supper doctor for you pets - please take them to Dr. H.
Don't go here if you want CARE for your pet! We took our beloved baby boy to Alta Vista after he'd had a series of seizures and it had just gotten so bad we knew it was time for some kind of drug therapy. I had spent days researching seizures in dogs and learned that Phenobarbitol could be damaging to the liver and that Potassium Bromide might be a better option. JanH I have a 65 pound dog. The vet tech came in and didn't even try to make friends with him. Just reached down and tried to put him o the table. He snapped at her...from the cracked door...they threw a muzzle at me and acted like they were about to be eaten by a grizzly bear! Everyone knows that you let a dog smell you and try to pet it before you make sudden moves...maybe she is a cat person? I used to go there all the time before it was sold. Never going back...
Above and Beyond When my 8 1/2 year old cat Kida started having a difficult time breathing on Christmas Eve, Dr Hutchison willingly stayed late to look at her. This included doing xrays and blood work. Dr. Hutchison stayed with Kida until she was breathing easier, which took a while. The entire staff at Alta Vista has always gotten Kida in quickly when I call with a problem. I know that Kida is in good hands when she goes for re-checks or visits.
We want your money we don't care about your pet!! I used to take all of my pets here in the past and Dr. Stephanie Bennett was what I considered to be the best. Sadly this is not so anymore. I recently took my dog there and about every 15-20 mins. I was being asked if I wanted to add a service. It felt as though they cared more about getting my money than the life of my dog.
