Went to our first Wisconsin Friday Fish Fry here this week(just moved up from the Deep South). Fish was great(and we know good fish), waitress was very attentive and great with the kids.
We stumbled upon this place after the badger game. Great staff, reasonable prices and good food. What more could you ask for. Absolutely great true Wisconsin place.
This was my first visit here but I will be back! We started with cheese curds which were amazing and hot! For lunch I ordered a patty melt burger with homemade chips and both were awesome! It was a lunch with colleagues and service was prompt and the food was served quickly and everything was fresh and hot!
Stopped in to watch part of the Badger game. Very good bartender and friendly atmosphere. Have been here many times over the years.
Old time bar with lots of regulars but we felt welcome. Great service. And for the Bagder game they served Jell-O shots for each Badger touchdown plus put onto e free snacks.
Food is excellent, great value. Brat Ruben is one of mankinds greatest food accomplishments. The chili is housemade and fabulous, cheese curds are of a Wisconsin staple. The only thing I would change would be ditch the frozen onion rings and fries for housemade recipe.
Great local tavern. Good food, good prices, decent beer selection, friendly staff.
