Awesome food, really great service but unfortunately very loud / don't plan on carrying on a decent conversation.
Kyle behind the bar hosted a magical evening for us.
Wonderful food. And ambience. Loved all the great photos
I am SF local visiting hipster restaurants regularly. "Al's Place" has excellent food. Remarkable food, it stays in your memory. Service is very quick. Like "WOW!" quick. Waiters know their wine and surprisingly (for a hipster restaurant) polite. Wine list sucks. Dear Al's Place. When your wine markup is 500-600% you just cannot make such a short wine list containing such pretentious wine. German red? Really?
Al's Place has a 4.5 star rating with 1,191 reviews.
