Caring and knowledgable I have been a patient of Dr. Martin-Wimmer for almost 15 years and have had numerous appointments for all sorts of issues and normal check-ups. My husband originally was her patient and when I needed to see a dermatologist, he referred her to me. I have also taken my daughter and son to her for different issues (rashes and acne treatments). RecommendedDr Darnell Martin-Wimmer is a wonderful, non-pushy, soft spoken Dr. It would be hard to find another Dr to fill her shoes, hope I don't have to for a long time. She's thorough and answers your questions always. Would recommend her to everyone.
Poor customer service! Aside from waiting 45 minutes for the doctor to enter the exam room, a billing issue was poorly handled. I was not informed of any out of pocket expense prior to doing a 'zap', a 5 second 'spot test' as the doctor called it, and ultimately charged a ridiculous amount AFTER the fact. The front desk then proceeded to hand me a waiver to sign, stating I understood that it was not covered by insurance. HELLO, you provide that to the patient BEFORE the procedure, not AFTER. My experience with Alpine Dermatology Associates was outstanding. Dr. Darnell Martin-Wimmer took the time to diagnose my issues, thoroughly discuss them with me including being patient with my numerous questions and then taking the corrective action over a couple of visits. My issues have been resolved. I highly recommend this office. Great job, Darnell, AND thank you for your help eliminating my issues. I wish you continued success.

This lady is a product pusher, is a money hungry greedy person, she has a hat store instead of a dr office. Accidentally walked by her office on my way out of yet another waste of time appointment (mind you I went a second time hoping she was just having a bad day) you can not even imagine the horror this women has in her office walls covered in papers I’m sure are probably 20 years old, if you wanna know why it takes her so long to get back to you it may be the 100+ charts she has stacked on her desk, and every room I walke... read more

My experience has been good. I have regular exams, pre-cancer treatments, and have had skin cancers totally removed with no recurring problems. Dr. Martin-Wimmer has always been pleasant and concerned if the treatments will co-ordinate with my schedule since I am in the public eye. She is both personable and professional.
