We are a family run farm, raising alpacas since 2002. We sell alpacas and many items made from their luxurious fiber. The Farm Store at Alpaca Meadows is a yarn store, a gift shop, a fiber studio, and a cozy spot for many kinds of fiber art classes. Schedule a Farm Tour for a group of people, or an Alpaca Walk, to meet our alpacas and learn about their history, their care, their habits, their sounds, their fiber, see first hand the magic of alpacas. We were camping in the area & looking for something fun to do. Came across Alpaca Meadows. So happy we found it. We missed out on the alpaca walk, but our daughter got a special one on one visit with the alpacas. The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. We saw the angora goats get sheared, too. Learned a lot in our short visit. We are looking forward to our felting projects from the shop when we get home. The next time we are in town, we will definitely schedule the alpaca walk.
This place is wonderful! We came here to do an alpaca walk on a Saturday morning. My girlfriend walked Annelise, and I walked Amelia. Interacting with the alpacas was a really neat experience. The property is gorgeous, and the walk took us through forests and meadows. I had a wonderful time with my friend walking alpacas! Julie and her husband are so knowledgeable and friendly! The farm is on a beautiful property with a nice walk around what will be their new pond, a meadow/field and the woods. The alpacas are the sweetest creatures 🥰 Julie also took pictures for us so we didn’t have to fumble with our phones. There is also a nice little shop with all things alpaca! Definitely a place for anyone looking to take a walk with a fuzzy companion!
we had an amazing time. Julie is an wonderful hostess!! thanks again for the great walk!!
very friendly people and very friendly Alpaca's. We took the Alpaca walk with two of the girl's.
We were grateful to spend time with the owners & their beautiful herd. Now, if only I can convince the city of Jacksonville to allow me to have one or two...
Took a knitting class and really enjoyed it! The yarns are beautiful and they have a great little store with reasonable prices. Finished scarf and I bought 2 more skeins to make another.
I’ve taken two classes from Julie. How to knit and how to crochet. She did a great job explaining the stitches and I’ve been able to create two pretty scarves. I’d highly recommend the classes!
We had a lovely day with Julie today at her heart felting class. Thank you for such a fun time and teaching us not just how to felt but so much about alpacas too!
