I booked a room for a concert nearby weeks prior. My husband and I get to the hotel at 630pm to check in and were told our room was given away due to overbooking. No sincere apology or effort made to find us another room nearby. I was told by the front desk an email was sent prior, the email was sent at 6pm. Today I checked into the Aloft Hotel. 2/27/26 The lobby and initial experience were pleasant; however, once I reached my room, I was extremely disappointed. The view was unacceptable, and one of the windows in the room is visibly cracked (see attached photos). Concerned, I went downstairs to request a room change. The young woman at the front desk informed me that no rooms were currently available because housekeeping was still preparing them. Love the service here! Kesha Pitt, is very kind, her service towards guests are so warm and friendly. The staff driver (from venuzuela) picks me up from charleston airport. Hes really kind too. The bed is too soft. Bad for backs. Hotel can review the mattress for changes.

From the time I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by Brian the shuttle driver who helped me with my luggage and offered to help with anything I needed. My room was very clean smelled fresh. I will definitely be back. The Manager Jeff helped me with some great restaurants to eat at and made sure I was comfortable with my Stay always a warm smile and a have a Great day by name. Thanks for the excellent hospitality.
