The hotel is clean, has no smell, and the staff is friendly. The location is also great, so I’m very satisfied. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it is perfect for staying during a vacation or a business trip.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Although my stay at Aloft Austin South was much longer than I ever imagined, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I was displaced from my apartment after severe black mold contamination and ended up living here for nearly a year while still paying rent on my apartment and navigating the legal process. To say the least, staff is extremely unaccommodating, and is insanely inconsistent with what they say is company policies they "have to follow". I came for a one night stay because I had a show in Austin that night ,so needless to say, I had several pieces of music gear with me,which apparently is frowned upon judging by their reactions as soon as I came through the door.
