Dr. Christy Evans has completely transformed the way I feel about going to the OBGYN and taking care of my health. She’s warm, understanding, and exceptionally knowledgeable, with such a thorough and thoughtful approach. I truly feel like I’m in the safest hands during our appointments. I cannot recommend Dr. Christy Evans and Almond OBGYN highly enough. As a 50-year-old mother of four (including triplets!), I’ve had my share of medical experiences, and Dr. Evans stands out as truly exceptional. Beyond Dr. Evans herself, the entire Almond practice is outstanding. There’s virtually no wait time and their communication is amazing; whenever I need anything, they’re responsive and helpful. The whole environment is just wonderful.
Maybe I’m the only one whose care has completely fallen through the cracks? They say they’ve scheduled an appointment for me, then there’s no record of it. Then there’s no record of follow up lab work. I’ve seen the Dr once in the 5 months since I’ve paid the membership fee and feel even more isolated in my health struggles than before started because Almond has made it clear that my care doesn’t really matter. This is the only gynecological practice I have been to in my entire adult life where I have felt safe, heard, and advocated for. They always treat me with so much kindness and humanity. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who has complicated, unclear issues and needs someone to genuinely TALK to them, or anyone who has sexual trauma and struggles with going to the gynecologist. They are wonderful!
