My depression gotten really bad really fast and my therapist thought it would be good if I get myself on medication as soon as possible. She recommended Dr.Almahana. I called the office and they asked me 4 questions. Do I ever think about harming myself or others, any drug or alcohol abuse. I answer no on all. I get a call after 2 weeks saying "it's not a good fit".
I've been seeing Dr. Almhana for almost 4 years now. He's helped me find medication that works well for me and takes my concerns seriously. He has taught me yoga and mindfulness techniques on top of medication. The one thing I've learned is to ask a lot of questions to make sure you understand his instructions, and sometimes his office is hard to get a hold of–which can be frustrating especially if you're in the middle of switching medications.
This man ruined my relationship with my family. I was prescribed pills i believe were not even necessary. I can not remember what happened or a clue. My reason for this visit was a personal problem I had going on, which was suppose to be kept private. After my one visit (REMINDER ONE VISIT) I started to act a lot differently around other people, talking differently being strange, weird/odd. NOT TRUSTWORTHY DOCTOR. Some nights i cannot sleep well. I seek this Doctor help for advice not poison.
All this doctor cares about is putting you on medications that cost a ton and probably won't work. All he cares about is making money and pushing expensive meds on his patients. He has no insight on trying to help patients that he sees, or at least not those who have wanted an actual professional to help our lives.
Horrible Dr.,not caring, understanding or compassionate. Told me to find my husband another Dr. Over the phone. (Rude) my husband is struggling and he just writes him off and is extremely rude.
