I've been with Dr. Almhana a couple of years now. He never rushed me, we talk over options and he helps me fully understand the treatment plan or when and why we need to adjust meds. I feel heard. And I definitely feel much better.

My primary care physician recommended Dr.Almhana when I was seeking a new psychiatrist. I find Dr. Almhana uncharacteristically warm, clinically competent, and interested in whole-person well-being beyond medication. He was sophisticated and thoughtful as a prescriber, taking great care to ensure that I was not over medicated. He also has a good sense of humor. His front desk staffing is uneven, but that's a hurdle worth getting over to see him as your caregiver.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Almahana to anyone having issues with the mental capacity to function well. I have a chronic issue that has necessitated ongoing treatment for over 15 years, so I know Dr. Almahana pretty well. He will listen to your issues and try in a gentle, nonjudgemental way to develop a therapy protocol to help you, he is always willing to listen to you if you have suggestions or questions regarding new treatment options. A+ IMHO

Dr. Almhana is an exceptionally fine, outstanding psychiatrist!! He is the BEST psychiatric professional I have ever known, or have had the pleasure to work with!! He is kind, compassionate, and caring!! He sincerely listens to my concerns and adjusts medication as needed. I have complete confidence and trust in him as my doctor!! Dr. Almhana is a RARE find. Dr. Almhana is very hard to understand and gets angry quickly if you do not understand what he is saying. Instead of answering my questions, he became angry and told me that I was the problem. I was simply concerned about my daughters mental health. Very insensitive I would not recommend.

Dr. Diab himself lacked compassion, empathy, consideration & sensitivity!!! I was very hopeful in my first visit, but I was truly disappointed with his demeanor. He was unbelievably arrogant, callous, disinterested & frigid!!! I must also state that the staff totally lacked professionalism & obviously rude!! When dealing with people who suffer with a mental illness, I would assume a much different outcome. Dr. Almhana is an exceptional psychiatrist medically and spiritually. He is able to treat holistically from both the medication management of psychiatric diseases and the spiritual needs of a person. I have been under psychiatric care for 28 years and on medication equally as long, I have never encountered a man more caring and compassionate as Dr. Almhana. His understanding of the needs of the mentally challenged patient are amazing and he is willing to listen with an open mind.

I have had a great experience seeing Dr. Almahana. I agree with other reviews, the receptionists are horrible but this does not factor in to his abilities to do his job. I went to him in hopes of finding a method to help with my anxiety, bipolar and depression. I have been seeing him since early May 2017 and have had great results. If you are looking for someone to pity your problems he is not the guy, but if you want to take control of your life he is the right doctor for you!
