RecommendedMy partner and I always go to Alma for special occasions and we were sadly confused on Valentine's Day. We had made a reservation 2 weeks before and when we showed up at 5:20 no one answered the door. When we checked the time Alma opened it said 5:00. There were people milling around on the inside but no one came to the door. We ended up going to Mama's on the Half Shell and had a fabulous dinner. Incredible food with some very creative entrees and appetizers. They feature live solo guitar music on Thursday during happy hour which is fantastic! The craft cocktails are first-rate. They really should get best of Baltimore for chicken wings and the wagyu burger. Alma has a creative, delicious and varied menu as well as traditional arapas. The staff is wonderful and makes you feel like family.
