Not worth the wait! – Fortunately there is a nice bar with good ambience, otherwise the hour-long wait to eat would have been unbearable. Unfortunately, the food didn't help make up for the time spent waiting.

Dog days--and nights – B61 sets the new standard for dog-friendliness in Brooklyn bars. And that's saying something with competition like the Gate and Sparky's Ale House. When the regular treats have run low, the bar has even called upstairs to Alma for custom delicacies, like steak. For the humans, the beer selection, juke box, and friendly staff make for an afternoon or evening of surefire fun. Only drawback is the overflow restaurant crowd on weekend nights. But that dies down around 10pm.

What's The Fuss – First of all, the building is fantastic - that rarest of things, quality new construction. That said, the restaurant is at the top of a long, long STEEP set of stairs. Don't bring anone elderly. Then the room is narrow and long; set up so the only place to wait for a table is at the crux of the kitchen, bathroom, and entrance. The food is only mediocre. The service confused. Strangest of all, the windows on their much touted view have many small panes - why?

overrated – Although the terrace is in fact really nice, the food is fair to middling. In addition, the waitstaff was clueless.

good food great atmosphere – The atmosphere on the roof -- and the view -- are unbeatable. The food is very good - gourmet mexican, I would say. The drinks are fantastic, and the staff are so polite and friendly. I almost hesitate to post a good review because I don't want too many people going there! I feel like it's a secret gem. But the secret is already out.

SO SO... – The view is spectacular. The margaritas are great. The chips and salsa are tasty. I think they just tried to get a little too creative with the menu and actually ended up losing flavor in some of the dishes. I would go back just to drink margaritas on the roof with some chips and salsa during sundown, but pass on the dinner.

ahh! classy baby! You can stay in Brookl – Wonderful classy bar with great service chilled out people and drinks. Nice place to drink, play pool, talk with friends. Trust me very classy. Worth the trip from wherever you are. Nice scenery around. Clean area.

cool low-key bar – Wound up at b61 on a sunday recently with some out of town friends... not sure how it is when it's packed but it was very relaxing... shot some pool in the back, lounged out and listened to tunes from INCREDIBLY diverse jukebox.. avoid the mojitos though stick to the beers and mix drinks. They gave us # for car svc when it was time to ok. Would definitely return here to chill.

take the B61 to B61 – An elegant yet relaxing front bar with views of the Manhatten sky line as the back drop. Cocktails that I haven't had so good since I lived in San Francisco a back room if you want to play pool or get a little close with someone in the corner.
