Don’t get me wrong, she was very friendly and entered the room with a smile. But in all honesty, I have never felt so dismissed by a doctor. For a full body check, she was in an out of the room in less than 5 minutes. I had more questions and she was already walking out of the door. I felt as if she just took the easy route by prescribing a cream that may work for one of my issues, but didn’t ask any further questions or allow me to elaborate on my history. I had a really bizarre appointment with Dr. Hoffman at Mill City Dermatology. For my first ever visit with her, my appointment lasted a total of five minutes and felt extremely rushed. She did not come in and introduce herself before I had to change into my gown, which is what other doctors I've had have done to make you feel more comfortable. Her tone was oddly combative when discussing my job during the skin check. I will not be a return patient.
Really strange experience. She didn’t really ask a lot of questions and recommended a supplement and another specialist. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Not what you want for a $50 copay.
Dr. Hoffman has a very nice bed side manner; however, I have been to numerous dermatologists in the past to get pre cancerous spots frozen. I asked her to freeze a particular brown spot (that has been frozen before) and she told me that is considered "cosmetic" and it would cost me $50. That is nonsense, since I have had those types of spots frozen in the past and my insurance covers it. It is not cosmetic. Dr. Hoffman has been the first dermatologist that I've seen in over fifteen years that has taken the time to understand my acne in order to treat it properly. She is thorough, efficient, and very friendly! I highly recommend her to those of all ages and skin conditions.

Dr. Hoffman was able to quickly identify and suggest treatment for some skin issues that I have been dealing with for a while. Her office space is clean, modern, and easy to find. Office staff are helpful and friendly. I was easily able to make an appointment that worked with my busy schedule. Bedside manner of doc is A+++.
