I reached out via email based on the positive reviews and all of the different types of insulation the company uses. Andrew responded to my email and inquiry. He was helpful over email. purchased a gut reno early in 2023. after living in the house for a year we understood the hot/cold spots and got an energy audit done. some key areas were identified and reasonable recommendations were made to improve the energy efficiency and comfort of the home. andrew was a pleasure to work with, and the crews he brought in over the 2 days did a phenomenal job prepping, performing, patching, and cleaning the work areas. would highly recommend performing an energy audit with alligood in homes of all ages!
Had Alligood Energy come out to do some blow in insulation in my roof, we soon discovered that I had absolutely no insulation in my roof and they were able to dense pack the entire available area. The difference is night and day, I’m noticing a 40% reduction in heating and cooling cost. I do have a Philadelphia row home, so most of my exposed envelope was the roof.
