Thank You Tom!!!! That is all I can say about his expertise and knowledge. We were in the process of closing on our first house and Tom came out to do our inspections. Tom spent 3+ hrs inspecting everything in the house and was extremely diligent. His report that he provided had so much detail and provided great insight to us on what work was needed on the house. Tom has inspected three homes for us in the past twelve years. The first home looked amazing on the surface, but Tom discovered several issues that were deal breakers for us, so he helped us dodge a bullet there! When we finally found another house he inspected it as well, and this time the house passed with flying colors. We’ve lived here for 12 years, and haven’t had any major issues at all. Tom recently completed an inspection for us. He was nothing short of amazing. Tom took his time to inspect every corner of the home (literally) and even took the time to explain to us what he was looking for. If he found something he noted it as cosmetic, maintenance, watch, safety concern or a “showstopper.” His report was thorough and timely. We give Tom our highest recommendation to anyone needing an inspection.

As a realtor, Tom is always my go to home inspector. Not only is he extremely detailed oriented and patient, but he is also very good at taking the time to explain literally everything about a house to buyers. Tom's reports are very thorough and easy to navigate, and can be used as a resource for years after a purchase almost like a "users manual" for a home. Tom someone I would highly recommend to clients, but he also just completed the inspection on our new home. He is THE BEST!

I am editing this review to say that we bought the house based on the inspection provided, which allowed us to understand that no home is perfect and to expect issues over time in certain areas. However we were expecting these to occur within a couple of years not a couple of months. Most of the flaws we were told were cosmetic, we are now dealing with structural issues. Allied Home Inspections was recommended to us by a friend who used them when she purchased her home. We made an offer on a house in another state and could not attend the inspection, so Tom had a heightened role as our "eyes and ears." He spent several hours inspecting the home we were considering.
