So....not what I expected. I ordered through Uber Eats and got the veggie (side) plate. The yams were choppy, mashy and over nutmegged. The cabbage had good flavor but was really over cooked. The beans and rice should be called "Bean" and Rice because the beans were barely there. Overall, the potato salad was the most disappointing because it was "Mashed Potato Salad"; and while the flavor was good, I wish it were an actual "potato" salad. But, good try...it beat a blank...and glad to see Albany trying to get better food!

This was my first time going and I enjoyed everything the first time I had catfish and it was everything wish it was 3 pieces instead of 2 the owner was very nice I will definitely go back to support this black owned business

I had the bbq rib and chicken dinner with collards, rice and yams. Everything was delicious, just the yam had a little too much nutmeg for my taste. But overall the food is great!

I will NEVER, EVER eat here again! The $6 that I paid, for your sorry, under-seasoned little pieces of fish, was absolutely ridiculous. Y'all should be ashamed....
It was a great experience, the ribs and chicken was delicious, and everyone was very friendly, look forward to go back soon, corn bread was good to..
