William H. Spencer founded the Alliance Rubber Company in Alliance, Ohio, in 1923, when he obtained reject Goodyear inner tubes and began cutting bands in his basement. A true visionary, he emphasized continual product improvement, which continues to this day. In 1923, newspapers were blocked and thrown in the general direction of the porch. Upper management. Had stroke at work and 4 people in charge told me I was just dehydrated and sat me in break room for 45 minutes. Then finally took me to convenient care instead of call 911 and nurse practitioner said I could return to work next day. I couldn’t even write or hardly walk my right side was numb. Got home and called my doctor and he said go to then St Joseph right away and was rushed right in and said I had a stroke.
