The best hospital I've gone, I have lupus since 2006 and were the only ones who put me in control for several years !!
My husband had one hip replacement and two knee replacements st HSS. His surgeon was great . But like the majority of surgeons once they close except for seeing you for five minutes a day you are dealing with the hospital staff. They are Incredible. Very caring and companionate. The physical therapists are great. Even the good is decent lol. They are also very good with family members. If you need a spine and/or joint procedure, this is the place come.
HSS is a truly world- class organization. As many people say, it has its act together from the cross attendant to the surgeon. I always receive pleasure coming in daily to work. Joining HSS team was one dream come true. I receive the utmost respect from my colleagues, the leadership is supportive and encouraging, and our patients receive excellent care from all medical staff. If the need ever arises, HSS is the best choice one can make.
Dr. Fufa should not be working with human beings. Maybe she should be in research medicine. I was referred to Dr. Fufa by a colleague. I waited for two months to see Dr. Fufa, I was required to fax over all records minus the cd of the mri findings, to see if I can be approved to see her. I was approved. Which led me to believe I was going to a specialist that understood my injury. I was wrong she didn't even bother to listen to me.
