I had pre-surgical screening/testing today in prep for my surgery date on the 8th. This will be my 3rd major surgery here at HSS in the last 16 months and I have to say, today was a MISERABLE & CHAOTIC day at the hospital!! Despite your new software system, the moving around from dept to dept, floor to floor, etc etc was terrible, especially when you are on crutches and in a leg brace. Dr Meister wonderful doctor and all around nice guy. Dr Fufa wonderful surgeon. Staff at hand clinic at 475 wonderful from Security to Medical staff. Every aspect of our medical needs was awesome. Best hospital experience we have ever had. Bravo HSS
Dr. DiFelice is the surgeon who repaired my 14 year old daughter's ACL. His approach to this surgery is entirely different than the traditional ACL reconstruction surgery that most other surgeons do. She was fortunate to have been a candidate for this type of surgery, and as a result is feeling 100% only four weeks after the surgery (in truth, she felt fantastic after only 2 weeks!)
