I was only fifteen years old when i came here to have major orthopedic surgery on a compound tib/fib fracture. I was ran over by a moving vehicle while crossing an intersection. Without the expertise of my doctor..( Dr. Helfet) I wouldn't be walking right now. Thank you to him and everyone else at this hospital for everything. God bless..
I had total hip implant on Friday morning. Walked with cane by late afternoon. Walk around hospital hallway and up and down stairs on Saturday morning. Cleared by PT for release on Saturday evening. At Home now. No Robles getting in and out of car or walking down the stairs at my apartment. Amazing results and recovery so far. The care in hospital was phenomenal from security guards to medical staff. And Of Course I can not forget to mention my Surgeon. Dr Fredrich Boettner. Loved the presurgery visits and pre op stuff all great and quick. But this time with having had back surgery the POST calls etc have Ben pretty dreadful. They don't call back because only one person was "on" and was too busy. They can't schedule any post op check up in their satellite location despite assurances that they could. They can only do late in the day rush hour and whilst I told them of my travel plans they did not think them important. After a Brachial plexus injury to my right arm as a result of my motorcycle accident, my whole arm is unable to move. However, with the knowledge and expertise of doctors like Scott Wolfe, Doctor Lee, and Doctor Feinberg, my surgery was a success and they expect an awesome recovery. The dedication of these doctors is awesome and I truly hope they help you all.
