After 2 other hospitals we came here. Best decision ever. Everything was TOPS! Doctors, nurses and everything in between. Thanks for fixing our son. A god send.
My husband had hip replacement surgery with Dr. Mayman. the whole experience, from the pre-op, the actual surgery and the recovery was excellent. The family atrium waiting area was very comfortable and organized even with the amount of people waiting. If would recommend it !
Hospital for Special Surgery is supposed to be a pioneer in spine surgery, yet on their conditions we treat page, they don't even list arachnoiditis. Very sad. This conditon is often misdiagnosed as MS, fibromyalgia, or failed back surgery. They should be doing more research for better diagnostics and a cure. There is a german surgery who tried to extend his thecaloscopy surgery to the USA,, and no hospitals including HSS were interested.

I didn't have surgery from HSS, however, I maybe considering it in my future. I have the PARS Defect. It was first found in early 1980, I was a senior in HS. I was a athlete. To be exact, I was a catcher playing fast pitch women's softball. I had many collisions at the plate. It became more & More painful as I continued playing this position.
