My husband has had two knee replacement surgeries there and I can't believe how quick the recovery has been. He is a new person with them. I can't say enough about the whole team there. They are the best healthcare professionals in the biz and you are in the very best hands at HSS. They are number one for a reason.
I always get great care at HSS . I saw Dr Sam Taylor aka #awesomedoc he did a couple injections in my left shoulder . Dr Taylor explained that the injections will help for now ,but I will need surgery at some point in time . He spent time explaining how long it would take to fully recover no sugar coating .When I am ready I will have my surgery done at HSS . My shoulder will be my 5th surgery at HSS .I tell everyone for any type ortho/rhemu problem it is the only place to go .
My daughter recently had a nine hour spinal fusion HSS. It was honestly, the most amazing experience. They took a very stressful time and all of our lives and made us comfortable and allowed us to put complete and total trust in both the physicians and nurses. I am an RN myself, and currently work in hospital administration. And I can honestly say this is the most outstanding hospital I have ever seen in my 20+ years in health care. In August I went for a consideration to see Doctor Lebl about my lower back pain doctor lebl sent me for a cat scan and a mri also a chest X-Ray when the dr called me and my wife into his office he said I need a micodiskectomy that's why I'm in so much pain he also said that he sees a spot on my right kidney and I should follow-up on this now I went to see a spine surgeon not too long ago and he didn't see anything also he also said I need a two level fusion that I did not need Thank god I Seen doctor Lebl. Climbed up 2 flights of steep, narrow stairs to my apt. just one day after anterior hip replacement with Dr. Alexiades. Feel so much better than I expected, and moving really well. So thrilled to be home! Nurses, assistants, PA's and PT's all WONDERFUL!
Well the staff was very nice and i am sure there is plenty of good work helping many people going on there. But I posted a negative review of Dr. Steven Lee for costing me everything due to a Ulnar Nerve Transposition gone really wrong and I was contacted by a rep Janet Villa who vowed to investigate. Guess once they realized i couldn't sue them for a technical reason all that concern for my well being went away.
